Welcome This ever evolving website is the portal for my art, writing and experimental projects. The activities are connected but presented as autonomous chapters, so please jump straight to the theme of interest. Apologies in advance for components not yet completed or posted.
Art I create art that is both freestanding and integrated into my projects. Some of it is for sale, but most of it is not. I sell my work from my studio in the Annecy region of the French Alps.
Writing I write mainly futurist non-fiction essays and project plans, but am also branching out into science fiction in the form of very detailed global scenarios and descriptions of technology in the year 2100.
Hybrid Projects I develop, finance and implement small scale, experimental, nonprofit projects. These ventures could be best described as hybrid projects as they integrate art, writing and social impact. The first of these projects is Art Altruism, with a pilot phase in implementation in 2026.
I completed my 35 year conventional career as an engineer and United Nations project manager in 2025. I have now moved onto a combination of roles: professional artist, amateur writer and local volunteer.
My wife Michelle is an independent jeweller. We work in partnership to create bespoke jewellery and enamels. Our joint work can be found at www.silverlynxdesign.com
My studio is in the Annecy region in the French Alps. I am always happy to meet other artists, writers and futurists.

Artificial Intelligence is now pervasive within the research and knowledge sectors – it is embedded in web browsers, document creation and graphics. It is already full capable of generating in depth self-contained document and artworks that can be mistaken or presented as human work. It is also sadly already a master of deception and copyright and intellectual property theft.
As an artist and devotee of the truth, I am hypersensitive to the opportunities, risks and injustices being dropped on us through the completely unregulated profit driven rush to AI. However I am also very interested in where a carefully managed combination of human artistic talent and AI can take us.
In general, for text, I do not use it at all. I will experiment with its use for graphics.
In that context, for the interim I have developed and employ in this website the following basic labelling system to indicate the form of content.
· PHC - Pure Human Content
· BC – Human and AI Blended Content
· AGC – Pure AI Generated Content
